((Oops. Sorry, yeah, ahaha… I’ve kind of been a bit more than rubbish lately with posting anything, at all. I’ve been trying to get back into the swing of things but the muse has sort of barrel-roll bailed on me into outer space and then exploded into confetti. Hopefully I’ll pick up again at some point, so I’m not closing my ask accounts, but I don’t know when I’ll start drawing again. I really am sorry, and thanks for understanding.))

ooc: Minor Hiatus
[[ Okay so most of you are aware that I’m currently working on this web comic atm, but my mother is flying over from the UK today so for the next week I’ll be wanting to spend as much time with her as possible. ne of my old tutors also asked to do a bit of work for him; consequently I’m just going to go ahead and call a small hiatus for the next week and a bit to keep my head in gear. ]]

Yes alright alright, I’ll admit that wasn’t exactly one of my better acts of judgement… but when you get offered a shot at offing a whole generation of goody two-shoes in one go the prospect is quite tempting. Besides, it wasn’t just me that was sold on the idea and really, who would turn down that kind of a party?
As for being frozen, fortunately I had the presence of mind to be absent in body. When I heard the whole shin-dig was going to be in Paris that settled it; I was kicking back in Hackney the whole time. Handy things, holograms. When ‘I’ got nabbed all I had to do was freeze frame it and make a few tweaks in the hue and saturation departments and Bob’s your frozen metaphorical relative. Just had to wait ‘til the rabble had moved on before shutting it down.
Not that I can say I was entirely chuffed about the matter…
So, initially this was supposed to be a sort of ‘why haven’t these three been drawn together before’ and a big thanks to all the followers on my Jervis and Mod askblogs (which it still is), but really, when it comes down to it, it’s also a thank you to Batman: the Animated Series.
Without TAS, there would be no Teen Titans, there would be no Brave and the Bold- what that show did for the world of cartoons is hard to put into words. They wrote every episode to be a movie; to be a real, true story that people could relate to. They made a world that was stunning, stylized and impossible, but believable; inhabited by well developed characters voiced by some of the biggest names of the era. It finally put television animation on the map as a serious art, and brought the myths and magic of the Batman comics to the screen in a new light.
So, yes; thanks TAS. You scared the shit out of me as a kid. I owe you.

Oh yeah, a right barrel of laughs that lot- ‘specially old Sunshine features here. You ought to hear one of his pep-talks some time; makes you feel like jumping in the river Mersey with a hole in your head.
Almost makes me feel sorry for the little green fella; at least I only brain-washed him a couple of times.
Don’t even get me started on the outfit. I might be potentially immortal but we don’t have an eternity to go over the problems.
